Who am I?

My name is Kelsey Middagh and I am currently in the middle of my Pre-Internship in my Pre K-5 Education degree at the University of Regina. I am pre-interning at St.Gregory School in a grade 3 classroom and I am loving it and learning so much about myself as an educator. This past summer I was employed under Sandcastle Daycare and I am certified ECE level II. I am originally from small town called Bonnyville, Alberta. I decided to attend the University of Regina because of the great things I have heard about its education program and as well as wanting to gain independence and start a new adventure in my young life! I am passionate about teaching young children and fostering their desire to learn and grow. I am beyond excited to begin my dream of being able to children’s lives through being their educator. I believe in having a social justice classroom that supports and welcomes all humankind. It is my duty as an educator to make a difference in this world so that society is a more accepting, safe, and nurturing place for the future generations that are in my classroom.

In my spare time I love to be with my loved ones. This is including my dog, Daisy, of course! I also enjoy cooking, working out, and doing yoga to relax and to practice mindfulness. I am obsessed with all things succulents. My house is not complete without a few of those “succers”! Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you enjoy everything you read. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact me. My email is kelsey.middagh@gmail.com.
